WARNING: MAY CONTAIN MATERIAL NOT SUITABLE FOR MORE SQUEMISH AUDIENCES

Here is your warning. These are the first pictures of my baby girl coming into the world. LITERALLY. We forgot the cameras when we first left for the hospital, but luckily the hospital's maternity ward sells disposable cameras to people who want them. So these pictures were taken by my wonderful husband as his daughter was coming into the world. I wish he had gotten a photo of my "paper thin uterus" as the doctor put it. She had said it was so thin you could see her face through it blowing bubbles (one of the nurses said she was blowing kisses). The first picture is of my bloody belly with her head poking out. In the second one, her umbilical cord is still linked to me (you can see the nurse is holding the little clip to close it off). And the third is her in all her bloody glory before they cleaned her up. I hope this has been a good enough warning. So those of you with weak stomachs, go no further.
